...to my website and browsing through the pages of what is my passion. I have been sewing since I was eight years old, but it wasn’t until I was 16 and did my first wedding, that I realized this was my destiny.

Creating gowns that make women feel beautiful is what I live and breathe for. My shop is in my home for one-on-one personal attention. The room is filled with antiques and has a Victorian feeling. I wanted it to have a feeling of a bygone era. A time when women would go to their local dressmakers home and have her create a dress just for them. This is what I do.

I have always had a fancy for the Victorian era and love making gowns that are feminine, yet sexy by incorporating delicate embroideries and lace. I absolutely love the gowns of the 40’s and 50’s. That “old Hollywood” look never goes out of style. Simple, elegant details and using the finest fabrics are all it takes to make a bride look regal. I also enjoy the magical world of the medieval era. Again I use lace and the finest materials to create gowns that are soft and flowing. I get inspiration from the fabrics and laces that I constantly explore. I “see” the dress when I am holding the materials.

During my 29 years of doing custom dressmaking I have met the most wonderful women not only who I enjoyed working with but women that have become my friends. These women want something different, something special and something that is one of a kind. I have never made the same custom wedding dress twice and I never will. Each dress is a one of kind.

I am currently working on “The Brenda Rowe Collection” a collection of designs that have been in my head for years. Now that my children are grown and on their own allows me the time to finally create these dresses. All of the styles I described above, my style. From traditional to magical, it’s all in there.
